Rules

1 point for landing on the green in regulation.

10 Points for a Hole in One

8 Points for an Eagle

4 Points for a Birdie

2 Points for a Par

1 Point for a Bogey

1 Bonus Point for landing on the Green in regulation

Scoring

1. Cost is $20 per golfer, per season

2. 1 mulligan per golfer used in the first 8 holes

3. Play as a 4 some on hole 9.

4. Chubb's best ball can be used during the first 8 holes.

5. $0.50 per golfer each week for Hole in One pot. Once the pot reaches $500, a second pot will be developed, etc.

6. $1 per golfer, per week for 9th hole skins.

7. Beginning February 19th, 2023, all men tee off of the Gold tees and women will have a choice, green tees or Gold tees.

8. Clash scores do not count towards the individual Championship.

9. Subs who participate in the Hole in One challenge will receive $100.

10. A Hole in One on Sarasota Big Cups pays $200.

11. If 2 players get a hole in one during the same round, will split the $500 prize money.

12. Snowbirds who do not participate in the Summer season, will buy 2 buckets or pitchers of beer upon return.

13. These rules are subject to change upon the commissioner's approval.

Formats

2 Person Scramble.

Two golfers are paired together. Men use the Gold Tee and women can use the Green Tee or Gold Tee, their choice. Both golfers tee off and then select the best shot to hit their second shot. Both hit from the same spot. Continue until ball is holed. A bonus point can be earned by landing one ball on the green in regulation. Each team can use a Chubb one time in the first 8 holes. Each golfer can use 1 mulligan during the first 8 holes. Each hole is limited to 1 bonus point. Bonus points can be earned on all 9 holes. 2 Bonus points can be earned on #9. Play the 9th hole as a foursome, men from the gold tees and women from the Green tees, to be eligible for the skin's pot. No mulligans allowed on hole number 9.

4 Person Scramble.

All 4 golfers are paired together. Men use the Gold Tee and women can use the Green Tee or Gold Tee, their choice. All 4 golfers tee off and then select the best shot to hit their second shot. Everyone hits from the same spot. Continue until ball is holed. A bonus point can be earned by landing one ball on the green in regulation. In this format, 2 bonus points per hole can be earned if 2 or more players land on the green in regulation. Each golfer can use 1 mulligan during the first 8 holes. Each hole is limited to 2 bonus point. Bonus points can be earned on all 9 holes. 2 bonus points can be earned on #9. Continue to play the 9th hole as a foursome, men from the gold tees and women from the green tees, to be eligible for the skin's pot. No mulligans allowed on hole number 9.

3 and 1, -5 Person Scramble.

All 4 golfers are paired together. Men use the Gold Tee and women can use the Green Tee or Gold Tee, their choice. 3 golfers tee off and play the hole as a 3 person scramble. The 4th golfer plays the same hole as an individual. Each team member will play 2 holes as an individual. The golfer playing the hole as a single must use the "special -5" ball. If the ball is lost, minus 5 points will be deducted from the team's final score. Only one lost ball per round. Add the points earned from the 3 person scramble and the individual to obtain a score for that hole. A bonus point can be earned by landing one ball on the green in regulation. In this format, 2 bonus points per hole can be earned if one golfer from the 3 person scramble group lands on the green in regulation. If the individual golfer also hits the green in regulation, then another bonus point is earned. If two or more golfers in the 3 person scramble get on the green in regulation, ONLY ONE bonus point is awarded. No Chubb in this format. Each golfer can use 1 mulligan during the first 8 holes. Bonus points can be earned on all 9 holes. 2 bonus points can be earned on #9. Play the 9th hole as a foursome, men from the gold tees and women from the green tees, to be eligible for the skin's pot. No mulligans allowed on hole number 9.

Pick your Poison

All 4 golfers are paired together. Before anyone tees off, the 4 some will decide who is playing with each other and thus become a 2 person scramble. Play as a 2 person scramble on holes 1 through 8. After the 2 somes are decided, then each 2 some decides which tee they will tee off from, Black, Gold or Green. All 4 members can tee off from the same tee, but play as a 2 person scramble. If one or both golfers lands on the green in regulation, then bonus points are awarded depending on which tee box they teed off from. 3 bonus points from the Black tees, 2 points from the Gold tees, and 1 point for the Green tees. Only one ball can get bonus points, If both land on the green, only one bonus is awarded. Same for the second 2 person scramble. Add each 2 person scramble team's score for total points earned on that hole. No Chubb in this format. Each golfer can use 1 mulligan during the first 8 holes. Bonus points can be earned on all 9 holes. 2 Bonus points can be earned on hole #9. Play the 9th hole as a foursome, men from the Gold tees and women from the Green tees, to be eligible for the skin's pot. No mulligans allowed on hole number 9.

Scotch Doubles

Play as a 2 person team. Both tee off, men from the gold tees and women from the green tees. After each tee off, alternate shots using your partner's ball. Continue to alternate shots until BOTH balls are holed. Add both points from each ball holed to finalize your score on each hole. Each player gets one mulligan. No Chubbs are allowed. A bonus point can be earned by EACH golfer or 2 bonus points per hole can be earned. Each golfer can use 1 mulligan during the first 8 holes. Bonus points can be earned on all 9 holes. Play the 9th hole as a foursome, men from the Gold tees and women from the Green tees, to be eligible for the skin's pot. A maximum of 2 bonus points can be earned on hole #9. No mulligans allowed on hole number 9.
